We’d have a chat about ideas for the portrait and then, ideally, we’d organise at least one sitting where we can get to know each other and I can make sketches and take some photos to work from back in my studio.

Paintings can take anything from a few days to a few weeks to create (plus drying time for oils), so please allow plenty of time if it’s needed for a special occasion.

I paint with high quality oils on wooden panel or canvas - we can discuss which surface would suit your project best.
